That’s right! You’re formally invited to Houston’s one and only coding mixer; loaded with a free introductory Python class, networking meetup, and mixer. In this workshop, we will analyze the Popeye’s vs. Chic-Fil-A feud to truly see who has the best sandwich. Aggregating tweets, mining social media posts, and geolocating IG tags, we will complete a deep dive analysis of more than 1 million posts across the web to finally settle the feud: once and for all.
So… what the heck is Python? If you’ve ever scratched your head at how to launch a career in coding, then this class is definitely for you. Data has become the lifeline for almost all companies and businesses. This course aims to teach the basics of computer programming with Python. We will show and create multiple computer programs utilizing the instructional commands with Python.The course has no pre-requisites and avoids all but having a general understanding of the basics of mathematics. Anyone can take this course. Anyone with moderate computer experience should be able to master the materials in this course. This course will provide a foundation for completing and understanding more advanced tools within Python such as scripting, web programming, data science, and even machine learning. Get ready to program!
